We received with emotion one of the #Portafolio2020 Awards to people and companies, in 12 different categories, which stood out this year for their contribution to economic and social development during COVID 2019. Grupo Nutresa was the winner in the Exporting Effort category, from which it seeks to recognize companies that participate decisively in the search of external markets and that demonstrate creativity to reach other latitudes.

At the ceremony, led by the Director of Portafolio, Mr. Francisco Miranda H., Grupo Nutresa and all its businesses and supply chains where highlighted for their intense work to maintain the levels of service in the international markets and allow their products to continue arriving in the different countries of the world. According to Miranda, “thanks to the results obtained in the different categories, and despite the uncertainty generated by de pandemic, the company has made progress with significant capital investments that will bring high benefits to the country, such as the new multi-category factory in the Zona Franca Tayrona in Santa Marta”.

The directors of El Tiempo Publishing House and the President of the Republic, Iván Duque Márquez, were also present at the virtual ceremony.

This award is in addition to five other Portafolio Awards obtained by Grupo Nutresa in past years in terms of Human Resource Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Best Business Leader, and Innovation, the latter received the immediately previous year.

On its 26th anniversary, the Portafolio Awards continue to highlight the contribution of individuals and companies to the economic and social development of the country.
