Fundación ANDI recertified
us as an Inclusive Company
Published November 2021
We are pleased to receive from the Fundacion ANDI the recertification as an Inclusive Company. This recognition commits us to continue supporting the cocoa sector of our country, to seek sustainable rural development with a territorial approach.
For 60 years, Compañía Nacional de Chocolates has been working directly with associations of small cocoa producers through commercial and technical support to improve production processes and increase the competitiveness of their crops, while contributing to improving their quality of life and that of their families. In addition, our company shortens the intermediation chains, obtains quality materials, establishes direct links with the communities, and positions the brand.
This recognition was granted by Fundación ANDI, in partnership with USAID and ACDI-VOCA, with the support of Deloitte, to companies that successfully implement practices for the inclusion of vulnerable populations in their value chains.
According to Catalina Martínez, director of the ANDI Foundation, “ANDI and its foundation seek to encourage and inspire companies to be increasingly aware of the need to integrate social issues into business, to generate sustainable impact while improving their economic performance and competitiveness.
This recognition inspires and motivates us to continue working for the Colombian countryside and sustainable rural development. We continue building a future together.
