Grupo Nutresa is the best company
in Colombia to attract and retain talent

In their 9th edition, the Business Monitor of Corporate Reputation (MERCO) named Grupo Nutresa as the company with the highest capacity to attract and retain talent in Colombia, and the most attractive within the food sector. In 2012, Grupo Nutresa made fifth place, later climbing up to third place between 2013 and 2015; it took second place in 2016 and 2017, and has made it to the top of the list in 2018.

MERCO, leader in Latin America and Spain, has been evaluating corporate reputation since the year 2000 using an objective and rigorous assessment which this year alone included 47,061 surveys, five perspectives, and eight sources of information made up of employees from each company, employees from MERCO’s 100 companies, university students, business school students, headhunters, Human Resources managers, and the general population, benchmarking people management.

This year, the results were announced by a panel which included Grupo Nutresa and other companies who talked about Attracting and Retaining Talent in XXI Century Colombia. We shared some of our practices of diversity and inclusion, mobility and talent, and leadership development and conciliation, among other aspects that have become the focus of our companies.

The analysis includes three categories:

Quality of Work: salary, professional development, motivation and recognition, relationship to superiors, and conciliation.

Employer’s Brand: image in society, attracting talent, recommendation, business’ success, and attractive business.

Internal reputation: ethical and professional values, equality and diversity, leadership.
